The Company’s main products, the CZ series, are widely used by package board manufacturers worldwide as copper surface treatment agents for organic package boards loaded with semiconductors. Package boards are installed not only in consumer electronic devices such as personal computers, smartphones, tablet PCs, and televisions, but also in the development of infrastructure such as servers and base stations. They are indispensable for a variety of electronic products that make our lives convenient and comfortable.

Focusing on niche markets and investing about 10% of consolidated sales in R&D
While focusing on copper surface treatment agents, which we have developed for many years in the chemicals for electronic substrates and components business, with one out of every three employees involved in R&D, in order to further deepen MEC’s technologies, we invest about 10% of our consolidated sales in R&D and focus on creating and fostering value at various interfaces.
