Information Disclosure Based on TCFD Recommendations
MEC COMPANY LTD. hereby announces that we support the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (hereinafter, “TCFD”) from February 14, 2023. As an R&D-oriented company, we have positioned climate change as an important management issue, and based on TCFD recommendations, we have conducted scenario analyses regarding climate change. We are identifying risks and opportunities to our company’s business and disclosing our efforts to address them.
Information Disclosure Based on TCFD Recommendations
※The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) is an initiative established by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) in 2015 in response to a request from the G20. The TCFD recommends that companies disclose environmental management information in accordance with four items related to climate change: "governance," "strategy," "risk management," and "metrics and targets.
